What we collect

We only collect information we need to quote, book and deliver freight.

When you request a quote or contact us, our forms collect your name, company name, email address, phone number, the pickup and delivery locations for your freight, and details of the consignment such as dimensions, weight and pallet count, along with any notes you add.

When you book freight with us, we also collect consignment details, delivery contacts at both ends, site access information and billing details.

When you browse this website, we collect standard technical information including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you arrived at our site. This is collected through cookies and analytics tools described below.

We do not collect sensitive information as defined by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

How we use it

  • To prepare and send you a freight quote
  • To arrange, book and track the transport of your goods
  • To contact you about a consignment, including delivery updates and exceptions
  • To invoice you and manage payment
  • To respond to enquiries, claims and support requests
  • To improve this website and understand how visitors use it

We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

Moving freight requires us to pass certain details to others. We share only what is necessary for the job.

  • Carriers and transport partners – we operate a carrier network, so the operator moving your freight receives the pickup and delivery addresses, contact names and phone numbers, and consignment details. They may in turn pass these to a subcontracted carrier or depot handling part of the journey.
  • Our freight management system – consignment data is held in the transport management platform we use to book and track freight.
  • Service providers – including our website host, email delivery provider, analytics provider and workflow automation tools, which process data on our behalf.
  • Professional advisers and insurers – where required for a claim, audit or legal obligation.
  • Government and law enforcement – where we are required or authorised by law to disclose information.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies – small files stored on your device – to make the site work and to understand how it is used. We use:

  • Essential cookies that allow the site and its forms to function.
  • Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager, to measure traffic and how visitors move through the site. This is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, to protect our forms from automated spam and abuse.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, including our quote forms, may not work correctly if you do.

Where your information is held

Some of the service providers we use store or process data on servers outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with this policy and Australian privacy law.

How we keep it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. This includes access controls on our systems, encrypted connections to this website, and limiting access to the people who need it to do their job. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep it

We keep consignment and billing records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations – generally at least seven years. Quote enquiries that do not proceed are kept only as long as they remain useful, then deleted.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity first.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first and we will investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can raise the matter with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
